Features

  • The Model One’s push-pull output circuit, uses Telefunken EL84-TK tubes that have been cryogenically treated for extended reliability and tube life and come from the distributor as a matched quad.
  • The input circuitry used the hard to get NOS 7247, and these have since been replaced with the more readily available JJ ECC832 (12DW7), with gold plated pins.
  • A new power supply board uses solid-state silicon diodes for rectification and replaces the twist loc capacitor can, with four individual capacitors of similar values, rated at 105 degrees centigrade each. These upgrades far exceed the original components in quality and reliability
  • This new power supply has an Enhanced Fixed Bias circuitry (manual adjustment required) to obtain lower bias currents for extended output tube life.
  • The Enhanced Fixed Bias power supply board achieves increased power output, both channels driven; and lower distortion overall.
  • The output tube sockets are Belton chassis mount sockets (4 each), using phosphorous bronze pins with tin plating.
  • The input tube sockets are Belton PC mount sockets (2 each), using phosphorous bronze pins with gold plating.
  • Cardas input RCA connectors are CTFA, brass base with silver/rhodium plating.
  • Cardas output binding posts are ACBP S, high purity copper base with silver/rhodium plating.
  • Schurter, Power Entry Module (PEM), rear mounted to chassis, with power switch, fuse holder and IEC connector for detachable power cable.
  • Cardas, chassis hookup wire, 21.5 AWG, for signals.
  • Cardas, chassis hookup wire, 18.5 AWG, for ground buss and heaters.
  • Various sizes of stainless steel screws, washers, loc washers and nuts.
