LAIN Audio is opening its doors with a limited Founders Program built around one of the most enduring guitar amplifier circuits ever created: the Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe.
I’m building just six 5E3 Founders Edition amplifiers. The first six customers will receive Founders pricing, upgraded components, permanent Founders Edition identification, individual build documentation, and a two-year limited warranty.
Once those six amplifiers are spoken for, the LAIN Audio Founders Program closes.

Why a Founders Program?
Every company has a beginning. These first six amplifiers will establish the documented build history of LAIN Audio.
Rather than populate this website with photographs of amplifiers built by someone else, I want the work shown here to be my own. Each Founders amplifier will be photographed and documented during construction—from components and chassis work through wiring, assembly and final testing.
With the owner’s permission, I’d also like to document some of the story behind each amplifier: why the owner chose a 5E3, the options selected, and their impressions after they’ve had an opportunity to play the finished amplifier.
In return for helping me establish that record, Founders receive special pricing, upgraded components, permanent Founders Edition identification and individual documentation that will not accompany an ordinary production amplifier.
You provide the opportunity for me to document my work. I provide you with a carefully built amplifier at Founders terms.
Built With an Engineer’s Approach
As an engineer by training; I approach guitar amplifier building accordingly. Each LAIN Audio amplifier is individually assembled, inspected and electrically tested before it leaves my bench.
I’m not trying to reinvent the 5E3, this circuit earned its reputation decades ago. My job is to build it carefully from quality components, verify its operation, document the finished amplifier, and stand behind my work.

A Founders position is reserved when the amplifier configuration and price have been agreed upon, the Build Agreement has been completed, and the 60% deposit has been received and verified.
Once all six positions are reserved, the LAIN Audio Founders Program closes.
